Heviz resort is located in the West of Hungary, less than two hundred kilometers from major cities and international airports such as Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava. The nearest railway station is
Keszthely, 6 kilometers from Heviz on the Western shore of lake Balaton ("Hungarian Sea"). There is an intercity and international bus station in Heviz. In addition, various individual and group transfers are available. Lake Heviz is one of the world's largest natural reservoirs with biologically active thermal water and therapeutic mud. The water surface area of lake Heviz is almost four and a half hectares. Hot water, strongly saturated with mineral salts, flows out of the cave at a depth of 38 meters and then mixes with karst waters. The water enters the lake at 410 liters per second, so in three to four days the water in the lake is completely renewed. The therapeutic bath of lake Heviz operates all year round, almost seven days a week. The water temperature in the lake does not fall below 22 degrees Celsius in winter, in summer it reaches 38 degrees Celsius in some areas. The bottom of the reservoir is covered with a thick layer of unique peat mud. The mirrored center of the lake Heviz is located under the pavilion, which creates comfortable conditions for swimming in any weather. Open areas of water can be accessed from the pavilion or from the shore. It is believed that a visit to the thermal lake Heviz has an extremely beneficial effect on the human body. The city of Heviz has many clinics and centers offering medical, health and beauty services. There is also a developed network of dental clinics, which are very popular due to the high quality of services in combination with competitive prices. Our accommodation in the resort of Heviz is a comfortable apartment with an isolated bedroom, large living room and kitchen, and a modern sanitary unit. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a six-apartment building and has its own terrace. Although the apartment is mainly used for short-term accommodation of tourists arriving in Heviz and traveling on business, it has a full set of furniture and equipment necessary for a comfortable life. The bedroom has a large double bed. Two more adults can sleep on the sofa in the living room. We do not limit children to the beds provided. The sanitary unit is equipped with a shower and a washbasin with two sinks. There is also a washing machine available. There is a modern TV with satellite channels in various languages (including Hungarian, English, German, Polish, Russian, Kazakh). Climate control is individual. There is also air conditioning. Pets are allowed (upon prior agreement and at a small additional fee). The residential complex of which our property is a part is located in a separate block with limited access to outsiders in the central part of the city, right behind the Temple of the Holy spirit (the largest temple in the city), close to the city Hall, post office and grocery stores. The house is newly built. There is no transit traffic on Martinovics street. Exit to the Central square of the city is possible via a convenient footpath, the distance is a little more than one hundred and fifty meters. Private Parking is available on site or free public Parking is possible on the street. The year-round Therapeutic bath of the thermal lake Heviz is about 800 metres away. Approximately the same distance separates our accommodation from the W**e Mountain - a favorite tourist quarter with w**e cellars and small private taverns. Our guests enjoy discounts when visiting the thermal lake Hévíz, as well as discounts from partners of the tourist community "Szobakiadók Szövetsége Hévíz" both in the city of Hévíz and in the district.
