Nagymaros mókusai kétségtelenül a legjobb helyet választották lakóhelyül, a vendégház kertjének fáiról kedvükre potyogtathatják a szétrágott mogyoróhéjakat óvatlan vendégeink fejére. dik a Duna, csúcsosodik a szentendrei sziget, emelkedik a Börzsöny és a Pilis is. Akinek túl sok a felfelé, mehet lefelé is, egy kényelmes 10-15 perces sétával (vagy 2 perc autóval) máris a központban vagyunk, ehetünk, ihatunk, vásárolhatunk, strandolhatunk, de van kajak is, kenu is. Aztán komp is, vonat is, bicikliút is, így mehetünk tovább is. Természetes strandok, hangulatos éttermek, dunaparti sörözők, kisvasutak, kalandparkok, erdei tanösvények, kilátók, várak, vadasparkok. Aki inkább a házban marad, az se fogja rosszul érezni magát. Vendégházunk egy 40 nm-es alpesi típusú faház, amelynek belső terei idén teljes felújításon estek át. Egy zsákutca utolsó, eldugott háza, átmenő forgalmat szerető vendégeink legnagyobb bánatára. Teljesen felszerelt a konyha, kényelmes a nappali, van egy kis fürdőszoba és két hálószoba (egy kényelmes francia- és egy emeletes ágyas). Kis terasz és kert kilátással, rengeteg tücsökkel, madárral és persze itt vannak a mókusok is. A parkolótól a házig lépcső vezet fel, kb ötven fok, és ugyanennyi vissza. Ideális pároknak, barátoknak, kis- és nagy gyerekes családoknak, túrázóknak, edzett kerékpározóknak, sokat alvóknak, korán kelőknek. Pótgyerekággyal, nyitható kanapéval szükség esetén tovább bővíthető a barátok, családtagok száma. Mindenkit szeretettel várunk, segítünk, informálunk, válaszolunk, mesélünk. The favourite spot for the squirrels of Nagymaros. They sit munching on hazelnuts in the trees around the guesthouse and drop the shells on the heads of our guests when they're done. For those who need more than squirrels, take a short walk and you'll be in the forest where the Wild Boar have already cleared the best picnic spots and view points. In just a few minutes it will be undeniably clear that the Danube does indeed bend, from the Szentendre island, up between the hills of Börzsony and Pilis. (There are plenty of trails, the national blue trail crosses through here too.) And if a walk up hill seems too much like hard work you can go down towards the river, with the centre of the town being a comfortable 10-15 minute walk (or 2 minutes by car), where you can eat, drink, shop, sunbathe on the beach or swim in the river. There are also kayaks and canoes for rent if you feel the need to get closer to the river without getting too wet. You'll also find the ferry, the train, and the bicycle path, with which you can venture further afield; natural beaches, atmospheric restaurants, riverside bars, narrowguage railways, adventure parks, guided trails, viewpoints, castles and wildlife parks can also be found in Nagymaros and the surrounding villages. If you're in the mood to stay home you'll still be able to enjoy yourself. Our guesthouse is a 40 sq. m alpine wooden house, the interior of which was recently fully renovated. It's hidden away as the last house in a cul-de-sac: bad news for those who like through traffic. Complete kitchen, comfortable lounge, a cosy bathroom and two bedrooms (one double, one twin with bunk beds). A deck and garden with a view, plenty of grasshoppers, birds, and of course the squirrels. From the parking area up to the house there are about 50 steps, and the same on the way back down. Ideal for couples, solo travellers, friends, small and large families, hikers, cyclists, late sleepers and early risers. There's a collapsible cot and an openable sofa bed if required.
