Hello! I’m offering a fantastic volunteer opportunity at Quirky Park!!
Located near stunning Lake Balaton, Hungary – just 1 hour from Budapest 🚆 (€4 by train) and 6 km from the town/beach 🏖️.
The Project 🛠️
I need help with demolishing an old crumbling cellar 🧱 and repurposing the bricks to create a drivway.
There’s also gardening, painting and cleaning roles.
Accommodation & Perks 🏡✨
You’ll stay in the fully equipped guest house, which you’ll share with up to 3 other volunteers. It comes with its own hot tub, cold tub, and sauna 😍 – perfect for relaxing after a day’s work!
Volunteers can mix and mingle in the underground games and party room... 🥳
Pet-friendly 🐾 I have a cat.
Work & Hours ⏱️
20 hours per week is the usual arrangement. In exchange for accommodation and evening meals – but I’m happy to discuss and agree on terms together 🤝.

Quirky Park is just a few minutes’ drive from shops , restaurants, bars, and lakeside beaches. You can use my bike, hop on the bus, or I can give you a lift.
About Me 🙂
I’m outgoing, sociable, and love entertaining.I can introduce you to Hungarian culture 🇭🇺, recommend local sights 📍 based on your interests, and cook you some traditional Hungarian dishes 🍲 (plus a few British favourites 🇬🇧).
The house is peaceful and full of nature – a great place to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul. If you’d rather keep to yourself, that’s fine too.
