What’s the secret to our much loved breakfasts? Simple: fresh ingredients, sourced from local farms and markets. Gabriella’s zsiros kenyér is an absolute favourite with the guests and we often end up making more for their lunch or to take with them on their journey home.

A very busy weekend at GouldVilla and we were lucky enough to have some guests from Japan celebrating their daughter’s graduation from Pécs university. Chris was lucky enough to share his love of the wines of Villány and did a short tour on Saturday afternoon.

As always Gabriella was the perfect hostess and surpassed herself with an even more extensive breakfast with meats and sausages fresh from the local farm as well traditional zsiros kenyér which everyone loved.

Lovely conversations, everyone having fun in the pool in the sunshine (and at night too). Thank you Ken, Yuki, Karen, Kenro, Fuka and Mio for being our guests for a memorable weekend.

It is weekends like this that really make you feel that all the effort behind the scenes were worth it. Reading the comments in the guest book will keep bringing back good memories!
