The pink beaches of Komodo Island are a popular destination for travelers due to the unique Color of the sand. Pink is close by single celled organisms called Foraminifera turn the coral pink of which the sand is derived from. However, others say that long ago when Komodo dragons were like real dragons all Khaleesi like, they slaughter countless of their foes on these beaches and turned them red and over time the red faded to pink. Sounds legit! 🤷♂️👌🐲

The Lempuyang Temple, located in the mountain side of the north eastern region of Bali, is one of the six Sad Kahyangan Temples located throughout Bail. They are believed to be the spiritual pillars of Bali and translate to “Six places of Gods”. The Lempuyang Temple is estimated as the oldest temple of the six, existing even before the era of Hinduism in Bali.
