"Rahajeng Rahina Suci" 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nyepi, also known as “Day of Silence” is a national public holiday in Indonesia, marking the celebration of the New Year in the Hindu Lunar calendar. It is a day of silence, fasting and meditation for the Balinese. Before ‘the silence’, highlight rituals essentially start three days prior to Nyepi, with colourful processions known as the Melasti pilgrimages. And then on Eve of Nyepi, papier-mâché effigies called ogoh-ogoh are carried around the city, accompanied by orchestral music, where it is finally burnt to ashes in a cemetery as a symbol of self-purification.

OLEH-OLEH
Mohammad Reza Fahriyansyah/ Indonesia/ 2017/ fiction/ 17:39
***
Yati’s mother was indirectly burdened by the behavior of one of the prayer group’s cultures, before going on Umrah. Her only daughter, Yati, disagrees with this culture, because it is a burden for her and her mother, especially to interfere with her initial desire to go Umrah.
