Bandung as creative city, seems not only rumors. Many clothing 'distro' (that's we call distribution store) grows in several main business points. Says D**o, Riau, Trunojoyo, Dipati Ukur, just a few among it. Hmm..Bandung designer have specific (or we can call "particular") line to express that differ from others. Some clothing outlets in Jakarta also collaborate with them for branch opening or limited designing.

From the historical story, the word "Bandung" came from word "bendung" or "bendungan" (in English : dam) because of Citarum River as one of the biggest river in West Java was blocked by volcanic lava of Tangkuban Perahu Mountain and form lake formation*.
Bandung City is surrounding by mountain and located on more than 700 msl. It make Bandung atmosphere cool and cozy to live in. Tangkuban Parahu (dormant volcano 30 km north of the city of Bandung*), Kawah Putih (White Crater) and Situ Patengan (Lake Patengan on south of Bandung) are few of geological landscaping laid around, interesting as tourism destination cause only takes one-two hours to reach in.

Bandung famous for its fashion and culinary. Became one of its trendsetter, tourist from nearby as Malaysia and Singapore came for shopping. From cheap and various as Pasar Baru until custom as Factory outlets on several busy point, Bandung became their destination all week. Brunei also plan to open their airline straight to Bandung in this year.
