In celebration of International Mangrove Day, Ascott Indonesia, through its Ascott Cares initiative, organized a nationwide mangrove planting activity to reinforce our commitment to environmental sustainability and coastal conservation.

Representing Ascott Region Batam, HARRIS Resort Barelang Batam , HARRIS Resort Waterfront Batam , HARRIS Batam Center , HARRIS Hotel & Suites Nagoya Batam , FOX Hotel Nagoya Batam , Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam , and YELLO Hotel Harbour Bay Batam came together to plant 100 mangrove trees at Mangrove Ecotourism Pandang Tak Jemu, Nongsa.

As part of Ascott Cares, this initiative reflects our shared responsibility to protect the environment, preserve biodiversity, and create a positive impact on the communities where we operate. Mangroves play a crucial role in safeguarding coastlines, supporting marine ecosystems, and helping to mitigate the effects of climate change.

Together, every mangrove planted is a meaningful step toward building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come.
