Started the day on a high. I’m so proud of my The Glass House - Sanur, Bali staff. They go above and beyond. Look what a guest said about us today. We were heading to somewhere else for dinner and hubby mentioned about not getting to the Glasshouse for dinner as we had said we would try...........next minute we were in there .......... 😂

Lovely, clean and relaxed but elegant without being pretentious.........it is truly a gorgeous place.
Placed our order and were served a complimentary bowl of crispy veggie chips.......hubby said "you must be lovin' them as the only time you didn't have your hand in the bowl was when you were ordering"......🤣

Entrees were tomato soup served with a piece of garlic bread and tomato brushetta.
Both were greatly enjoyed

Mains were the mega beef pie served with mash, peas and gravy
Mine was the grilled Fisherman's Basket served with a salad and hand cut chips
Hubby was in seventh heaven with the pie......said it was soooooooooo good
My grilled Fisherman's Basket was bloody delicious, the calamari was soft and tasty and not chewy, the fish was moist and well cooked, prawns were a great size and bloody beautiful and the chips were crumchy onbthe outside but soft inside.

Hubby then decided he would have a look at what was available for dessert as he had thought he had seen Lemon Meringue Pie on the menu..........

Weeeeeeeelllll when it came out his eyes grew as it was a generous serving and came with cream and ice cream.

Can honestly say that we thoroughly enjoyed it all.
Staff are lovely and attentive without being in your face

Total came to approx 740,000 rup but that did included a couple of cocktails each

Do yourselves a favour and go there!
