Villa Anjani is just a special place in a wonderful relaxing location on a small low-tide beach with great views across the bay to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. The villa makes use of an exclusive location near a lovely little white-sand beach in the traditional coastal village of Mendira. Anjani Villa is only a couple of minutes walk to this beautiful little beach and to the laid back sea-front
restaurants. We access the tranquil little Mendira beach by a short walk through the lovely little village or on a trail through some coconut plantations; it takes just 5 minutes to make the walk. Villa Anjani has 5 bedrooms, comprising 3 doubles and 2 twins - which can be made into double rooms. There are four rooms in the pool pavilion; the two rooms on the second floor share a large well designed shower & bathroom and the master is accessed through the twin room. The master has a sea/pool view and the twin comes with a pool view. Two double rooms make up the lower floor. Bedroom five is in the garden pavilion and is accessed by a spiral staircase. The villa has a courtyard style pool and a great garden area with coconut palms which looks out over the sea. We provide a good complimentary breakfast that includes fresh juices and fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon, pancakes, whole meal bread and top quality jams and spreads (including home favorites such as Marmite, Vegemite and Nutella). We can also provide a vegetarian or Indonesian option for breakfast. The villa comes with a private chef and a great menu at the property from which you can choose meals - the prices are very competitive and this means that eating at the villa works out a lot cheaper than eating in even a local Balinese warung, but the food quality is far better. There is a full menu, with a variety of mostly Indonesian and Balinese meals and drinks available upon request at local Balinese restaurant prices. In addition to the standard menu, special meals such as fresh seafood BBQ; Babi Guling (Balinese Suckling Pig), and Bebek Betutu (Balinese Baked Stuffed Duck) can also be arranged with 24 hours’ notice. There are also oceanfront restaurants/hotels in Mendira which are an easy walk and provide a nice social atmosphere. There are also many in Candidasa [5 minutes away] to choose from and taxis are very cheap and efficient. We are about 85 minutes drive from the airport. Some of the most famous sites in Bali are close-by, including Besakih (the Balinese Mother temple); Teganan an original Bali Aga village and the water palaces of Ujung. There are also many more modern activities including; diving and snorkeling, rafting, submarine trips, the Bali safari park, elephant rides and trekking up the biggest volcano in Bali, Mount Agung. With Ubud an hour away and Kuta the same, Anjani Villa is a great place to base yourself for a trip to Bali.
