10 days after Galungan day, Hindus in Bali celebrate the Kuningan day. They believe that today is the day when the Ancentors return to heaven after visiting the earth during the Galungan. And since it's farewell, they will give offerings namely yellow rice placed in small "bowl" made of coconut leaves. Yellow rice is a symbol of gratitude to God for life, joy, wealth, health and prosperity given. This Kuningan ceremony is very unique because it coincides with Siwaratri Day. It is one of the rare moments that occur 30-50 years. Siwaratri Day itself is a moment for self-control to become a better human being. And not to forget, we send our warmest wishes to "Happy Kuningan and Siwaratri Hari Raya". May God bless you with peace, love, and happiness 🙏 ✨

10 hari setelah hari Galungan, umat Hindu di Bali merayakan hari raya Kuningan. Mereka meyakini bahwa hari ini adalah hari di mana para dewa kembali ke surga setelah mengunjungi bumi selama hari raya Galungan. Dan sebagai bentuk perpisahan, mereka akan memberikan persembahan berupa nasi kuning yang ditempatkan dalam wadah kecil dari daun kelapa. Nasi kuning adalah simbol ucapan terima kasih kepada tuhan atas life, joy, wealth, health and prosperity given. Upacara Kuningan kali ini terbilang sangat unik, karena bertepatan p**a dengan Hari Siwaratri. Pertemuan dua hari raya ini merupakan salah satu momen langka yang terjadi 30-50 tahun sekali. Hari Siwaratri sendiri adalah momen untuk pengendalian diri agar menjadi manusia yang lebih baik. Kami ucapkan "Selamat Hari Raya Kuningan dan Siwaratri".
