Our restaurant serves delicious Balinese food in a beautiful rice paddie setting Our rooms have quality linen, comfortable beds and suit families and couples Located in the village of Pesalakan, Pejeng, we are 10 minutes by car from central Ubud and 90 minutes from Denpasar Airport. Situated beside a running stream, rice terraces and coconut palms, Villa Pesantian is the perfect destination for

those who wish to relax and unwind. Tranquility is key and relaxation immediate, as you enter the traditional turquoise doors and are welcomed by our friendly staff. This secluded, family operated 6 room villa is ideal for groups of up to 13 people who wish to reserve an exclusive booking and make the most of the private facilities and pool. Alternatively, double rooms can be booked individually and meet a range of accommodation preferences. Traditional Balinese life continues daily around Pejeng, where Villa Pesantian is situated. Working rice fields surround us, which complements the view from all angles. A subac (stream) meanders below the pool, while across the road there is an ever-flowing furrow of crystal clear water from the rice terraces. There are many activities to enjoy in the area during your stay. An example of a day’s activities may include a 45 minute walk on paths through rice terrace fields and forests in the early morning to work up an appetite for a hearty breakfast of local fruits and freshly laid eggs, with coffee from just up the road, in Kintamani. Followed by an afternoon browsing Ubud’s artisan shops and galleries, before returning to Pesantian to relax by the pool and decide on the many dinner options available. We look forward to sharing this peaceful and beautiful location with you as we host your stay.

The beauty and peace at Pesantian is next to none. Enjoy some time here and taste the delicious local Balinese food carefully prepared by Santika and staff. From out in the rice paddies, it’s just a 15-20 min drive into Ubud for shopping and sight seeing.
