"Karya" in our neighborhood last February was a grand sacred ceremony where our guests could also participated to celebrate.
In Balinese Hinduism, "Karya Ngusaba Pitra" refers to a grand, communal ceremony dedicated to honoring ancestors and the deceased. It is a massive ritual of collective devotion aimed at purifying spirits and guiding them to a peaceful afterlife.
