Welcome to The Griya Villas and Spa Resort. If you’re looking for sheer luxury in the most authentic part of Bali, you have landed in the right place. We are located on the most Eastern tip of Bali, in the Karangasem province, in an area known as Amed. The Griya offers fourteen intimate and luxurious villas. Each villa offers a private infinity pool overlooking the beautiful and tranquil bay of Lipah. Not to forget the stunning vistas over the ocean and the neighboring hills. We guarantee that you will thoroughly enjoy the very warm and tropical atmosphere, as well as the sheer peace and tranquility. The traditional Balinese design of a villa has been revisited to create a very contemporary look-and-feel. Each villa is stylishly furnished with state-of-the art interior design, lighting and the finest furniture and fittings to match today’s standards of luxury. Entertainment in the villas includes excellent wireless WiFi/Internet, large flat screen LCD TV and a BOSE- and iPod sound system. Each Villa proposes an indoor and/or outdoor living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, enabling you to be fully or semi independent should you wish to. The word “Griya” is the Hindu word that refers to “a larger residence, that consists of multiple courtyards”. Our architect's vision has been to set the resort in a natural haven, by blending the sloping contour of the land - with the spectacular sea and mountain views - together with natural and specific materials, all indigenous from Bali. The result? Well, you’ll have to see for yourself really. But we can tell you this much: nothing compares to the sense of freedom you will get from this fantastic wide-open view. You will enjoy starting your day contemplating the sunrise over the island of Lombok, while sipping your favorite coffee. With your feet in the pool. Each villa comes with a fully furnished kitchen so you can be totally independent for your meals, should you wish to. You are also warmly invited to simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and fabulous scenery of our award winning Safka Restaurant, so why not come to dine & wine with us there? You are also very welcome to mingle with other guests, and order your favorite cocktail during Happy Hour – daily from 5 till 7 - on our very popular Roof Top Bar, which overlooks the sea and our most prestigious landmarks of all, the majestic volcano Gunung Agung. If you’re looking for the perfect opportunity to pamper yourself, to chill and to disconnect yourself from the outside hustle and bustle, make your way to our Channa Spa.
