Nyepi is coming up soon in Bali 🌑✨

In the days leading up to the Day of Silence, villages across the island prepare the famous Ogoh-Ogoh parade – giant, hand-made statues representing negative spirits. On the evening before Nyepi, they are carried through the streets with music, fire and lots of energy to symbolically cleanse the island.

The next day, everything becomes completely quiet. No flights, no traffic, no lights – just a full day for reflection while Bali rests.

It’s a pretty special time to be on the island. 🌴
