Pumpkin has become our seasonly fruit to plan. It grows up well in the low rain intensity area like Nusa Penida, thus this giant fruit is becoming a must list in the crop.

The red bean grow up well in our garden.
As we're ranged in the tropical island, the beginning of a new year, locals start to plant & grow their local commodities. Usually, this bean can actively produces seed until 3 months after cropping.
By local people, they commonly harvest both the young ones and the old ones. However, the old ones will be stored for the next season cropping.

Rain is coming! 🌧️
Nusa Penida farmers start to plant their crop which mostly consists of peas and corn🌽🥜🌿. No modern tools, all rainfed managed manually. Some of them use cows to plow or pulled by human. Spending around 3 months, they'll be ready to harvest.
FYI, Nusa Penida has low rain intensity, this causes the farmers only plant once a year. 🍂
