One of the most popular traditional dish of the Balinese kitchen is "Lawar Kuwir". Finely minced duck meat and skin mixed with shredded jackfruit), pieces of braised duck meat, lawar belimbing (shredded star-fruit leaves mixed with grated coconut and coconut milk), deep fried shredded duck meat, fried peanuts, two duck satay (ground duck meat and coconut meat formed into a thick paste and grilled on bamboo skewers) and sambal matah.
