IMPORTANT INFORMATION – NYEPI SEGARA (SEA DAY OF SILENCE)

Dear Guests,

Please be informed that Nyepi Segara (Nyepi Laut / Sea Day of Silence) will take place on 27 September 2026.

This is an important traditional and religious observance in the Nusa Penida area, including Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan. During this period, all activities at sea must stop for 24 hours.

Nyepi Segara will take place from:

📅 27 September 2026 at 06:00 AM
until
📅 28 September 2026 at 06:00 AM

During this period:

🚫 No boats or fast boats will operate
🚫 No boat crossings between Bali and the islands
🚫 No inter-island boat transfers
🚫 No snorkeling, diving, fishing, or other sea activities
🚫 All sea transportation will be temporarily suspended

This means that guests cannot travel to or leave Nusa Ceningan, Nusa Lembongan, or Nusa Penida by boat during the Nyepi Segara period.

If you are planning to arrive or depart around 27 September 2026, we strongly recommend arranging your boat and travel schedule before 06:00 AM on 27 September or after 06:00 AM on 28 September.

Please plan your journey accordingly, as there will be no boat crossings during Nyepi Segara, and guests who are already on the islands should remain on the island until sea transportation resumes.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and respect for this important local tradition.
