Lombok traditional stick fighting call is Peresean. Two fighters, known as Pepadu, entering the arena, wear traditional sarong and head bands (sapuk). They are armed with only two things
The Penjalin: A tough, flexible rattan stick used as a sword.
The Ende: A sturdy, rectangular shield made from hardened buffalo or cow hide to block incoming strikes.
