As we wrap up 2025, we’re so close to the finish line! What a huge month it’s been. Wet season has definitely kept us on our toes — dodging tropical downpours while working through the final details. As always, it’s those last stages that can take the longest, and while we do need to redo some of the terrazzo (adding a little extra time), the end is firmly in sight.
All of the stonework for the pathways and pool is now complete — entirely done by hand, and a truly massive job. After a thorough clean and a clear protective coating, the space has really come to life, and seeing these finishes come together has been a major milestone.
We’ve also had a big delivery this month, with our gorgeous furniture arriving, all handmade here in Kuta, Lombok. They’ve added so much warmth and character to the space.
The excitement really builds tomorrow as landscaping begins. A wave of lush greenery is about to completely transform ZENARA. We’ve carefully selected beautiful tropical plants for the gardens and will be sharing photos once they’re planted.
On another exciting note, we’ve officially welcomed four new team members to ZENARA and can’t wait to introduce you to them over the coming weeks. They’re amazing.
As we move into 2026, we’re filled with gratitude and anticipation. What a year it’s been — and what an exciting year ahead. We sold everything and moved our family here to follow a dream, a vision and different way of life. Thank you so much for all the support. The opening isn’t far away, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
