y from everything submerged in nature without giving up on the comforts of a cozy yet luxurious room and freshly fished sea food cooked with an Italian twist at our restaurant Nautilus. A sandy white beach and crystal clear waters populated with gardens of brightly colored coral and tropical fish at your doorstep. The Bungalows are equipped with solar panel power, a safety box and an en suite bathroom with a small private garden in which you will find a tanning bed for you to get an even tan all over. There is a terrace lounge furnished with a coffee table, sofa and hammock for all your relaxation needs. The sofa on the terrace can be converted into an extra bed with mosquito net upon request for an additional Rp.275.000 per night. The Bales are equipped with luggage storage space, a head rest locker for valuables and a modest terrace furnished with bean bags for you to kick your shoes off and enjoy a sunset view with a cool drink at hand. The Bales are only Rp. 1.000.00 with private bathroom and 700.000 IDR with shared bathroom facilities; 3 showers and 2 sinks to 1 Bales. Both accommodations include breakfast at our restaurant Nautilus where we also serve a seasonal daily menu based on availability of fresh local produce at the markets and cooked with an Italian flare. Weather you are a beer or a kombucha kind of person you can enjoy beautiful sunsets with almost 360’ view of the mainland and neighboring islands from our wooden Yoga Shala located on the small hill behind the lodges. To end the beautiful day come sit on the drift wood benches surrounding the fire pit to share your day and make new friends or simply just enjoy the dancing flames before dinner.

Being powered by solar energy has always been one of our biggest dreams and goals. Gili Asahan is still not connected to the national electricity grid, so every ray of sunshine helps power our little island home.
Every room, every meal and every special moment is powered by nature. We’re incredibly grateful for the energy the sun provides us each day and even happier that we can share some of our surplus electricity with the local village. ☀️🌿💛

Our new activity: The Horse Relaxation Experience 🐴🌿
A unique experience that combines a soothing foot massage with the calming presence of horses.
Seated beneath our sacred tree and surrounded by nature, you’ll be invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be present. While a massage therapist gently massages your feet, three horses will spend time nearby in their own way, some may choose to come closer, while others may simply relax, graze, or observe from a distance.
There is nothing you need to do and nowhere you need to be. Just relax, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and allow yourself to reconnect with nature, the horses, and the present moment.
