"Silence on The Sound of Gamelan"

The sound of gamelan "Neng-Nang-Ning-Gung" carries a philosophy to teach us tranquility.

The "Neng" sound produced by the gamelan means "Meneng", which signifies silence-inviting us to withdraw briefly to reflect on life. Perhaps there were mistakes, missteps, or inaccuracies in the past.

After a moment of "Meneng", the result is "Ning". "Ning" means "Wening", symbolizing clarity-both mental and emotional clarity.

Once achieved "Ning", we then reach "Nung". "Nung" stands for "Hanung", meaning the divine gift of strength or the light of God. Thus, when our hearts are clear, we can receive the light from the God.

In the end, if we can grasp that divine light, we may attain "Nang". "Nang" signifies "Wenang" or victory, which grants us the vitality and strength of the life now.

And once possess all these, we will reach "Gung", representing grandeur. We can achieve a noble life, whether in this world or the afterlife.

Gamelan is not just instrument. It is a living story, a voice of the past speaking to the present, reminding us that true beauty is created together 🎼.

Nginep di sini selama 3 hari 2 malam sama teman-teman kantor dalam rangka rapat akhir tahun.

Soal kebersihan, mulai dari lobi hotel, resto, halaman, kolam renang, ruang meeting, kamar tidur, kamar mandi sampai balkon hotel semua lumayan bersih, teliti sampai ke sudut-sudut kamar. Pun begitu dengan alat makan dan benda lain di meja restaurant.

Saya bukan sekedar backpacker hotel mlati sabtu-minggu, saya tau bagaimana kualitas hotel semodel Swiss Bell, Hyatt, Hotel budget, resort di kepulauan sampai hotel mlati dengan ranjang reot dan bau amis di samping terminal. Pengalaman menginap itu tidak hanya saya alami di pulau Jawa. Jadi menurut saya, Amata memenuhi kualifikasi sebagai hotel yang bersih. 

Menu makanan dan minuman?  kebetulan pesan makanan dengan model paket per orang, bukan model buffet untuk rombongan, saya serahkan semua pilihan menu F&B lokal kepada pihak Amata, tau beres pokoknya. Menunya memang tidak istimewa tapi sangat memuaskan dari segi porsi, rasa dan kualitas bahan.

Soal pelayanan dari staf hotel, bisa dikategorikan menyenangkan, kalau saya sebut luar biasa nanti dikira berlebihan. Mulai dari keamanan, staf lobi sampai staf resto.

Amata bisa masuk kategori resort dan hotel yang layak untuk didatangi sampai 2-3 kali dalam setahun. Mau itu acara kantor, sekedar staycation sampai bulan madu dan kumpul keluarga.
