Nearly four months after the earthquake we are ready to open some of our bungalows.
Hasan and the team have worked so hard to pull this together, rebuilding a new roof on our dining area, rebuilding external walls and repairing/rebuilding damage to the bungalows and berugas (small gazebos) etc.
Now we just need all you lovely people to come and stay, so please spread the word so we can begin collecting funds to rebuild the rest!
We will get there!!

After the three earthquakes today (the last being 6.3) just wanted to let you all know that we are all fine. Some of our staff have come back and are helping clear up the debris which is great! In fact our spa, Desha Spa, is open - our amazing therapists insisted that we open!

Hasan is preparing 'jantung pisang' the 'heart' of the banana which is actually the banana flower, for dinner tonight. We are rationing our food until some of our staff come back with supplies and finding food available on the island. We are very happy that electricity and fresh water is running now! Well done BAL and PLN!
