In Virginia, the Wood family achieved something incredible: six generations of daughters, all alive at once. At the heart of this beautiful chain was Mollie Wood, born in 1901, who lived to witness her family tree blossom across an entire century.

When little Braylin Marie Higgins was born in 2012, she didn't just meet her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother... She got to be held by her great-great-grandmother AND her great-great-great-grandmother Mollie, who was 111 years old!
