If your looking at coming to Lombok .You'll find there is the usual destinations in the brochures....But!!! It is no secret but Kuta In Lombok ,(Not Bali) is now popular. Make no mistake this is nothing like it's nieghbour but is exceptionally impressive for all walks of life. Family , Couples to the hard core surfer or adventurer. 1/2 the price of Bali.... YES...!!!! . The crowds are small and the locals are friendly without the constant hassel of people always selling in your face. This culture is all inclusion. If you want more than a stage show, you need to speak to Budi aka Edi of OUR BUNGALOWS in Kuta Beach. These traditional bungalows are not meant to rival a 5 star resort but ethenticate true Indonesian living. My experience is not just a home stay but you are shown by the family cuture, information on where to go , best surf spots , in fact anything you want without your hard earned before you even get there. Edi will get you local prices on everything you need!!!! You will save to do more and Edi will get you the MOST.
