We came to Bali for our honeymoon in 2017.
We didn’t come with a business plan, an investor deck, or a five-year strategy.
We came from Bulgaria simply curious about an island everyone spoke about — and somewhere along the way, Bali quietly stayed with us.
By chance, we were shown an abandoned construction.
What looked like ruins to most people felt like an opportunity we couldn’t explain, only feel.
It was risky.
It was uncomfortable.
And we left Bali with a baby on the way, trusting that some decisions don’t arrive with logic first.
That’s how Bali Serendipity was born — because we truly believe fate sometimes has a voice of its own.
Then came 2020.
Borders closed.
The island went silent.
And suddenly we were left wondering if we had made the biggest mistake of our lives.
After a year and a half, the island slowly reopened. Millions of tourists returned— but we weren’t here.
And for a long time, we tried to manage everything from Europe, through screens and phone calls, knowing deep down that this place deserved more presence and care.
So we changed our lives.
In June 2025, we packed our careers, our experience in marketing and sales, and our two children — and moved permanently to Bali.
Today, we manage Bali Serendipity ourselves.
We welcome our guests personally.
We improve, build, and learn every single day.
Three new villas will be ready very soon, but more importantly, we are creating a place that feels calm, intentional, and genuinely cared for.
If you believe travel should feel personal — welcome.
You’re exactly why we’re here. 🌿
