Save for your Bali trip if you want to get off the beaten path. Go to Sidemen for a few days of slow travel. Trek around the terraced fields. Take a cooking class in an organic garden. Eat the delicious local food. Finish that book. Get a massage surrounded by farms.

The long drive to this little piece of paradise was certainly worth it for me. Very few fellow tourists, such a stark contrast from places like Seminyak and Ubud . This is the kind of place you go to just be versus somewhere you go to check off some list (no swings here). On that note, throw the list away ❤️
