The Hostel - home for backpackers the Hostel (a home for backpackers) is a mixed n shared bunkbed type hostel. We arrange Bromo and Ijen trip for worldwide private or shared backpackers.

It is a bunkbed style and we provide free wifi, air condition shared room, shared hot water shower, bread for breakfast. Our location is in the heart of the city, just a few minute walk to the biggest mall in the city-Tunjungan Plaza, Surabaya Plaza, Grand City Mall, famous and memorable Tunjungan street, Grahadi (goverment residental), Balai Kota (city hall), local culinary and more....

Bromo opens for public, for you who want to go there, especially domestic travellers, we offer open trip minimum of 4 persons (need advance reservation because there will be a limitation each spot for sunrise) and at this time being, cant go up to Bromo (1km distance from Bromo).
Open trip will be at idr 670k/person (minimum 4 to go), idr 585k/person (minimum 3 to go), idr 820k/person (minimum 2 to go) and idr 1550k 1 person to go (private).
Include with transfer surabaya to cemoro lawang vv, jeep at Bromo to sunrise and sea of sand, health permit, 1x breakfast and coffee break, entrance tickets, mineral water, hand sanitizer handy, masker.

Our Story

Are you planning and flying to Surabaya-East Java-Indonesia? Come and stay at the Hostel-Home for Backpackers. It is a basic bunkbed mixed dorm style and we have free wi-fi, air condition room, shared hot/cold water shower, a small kitchen area which you could use and include with breakfast. Our location is in the heart of the city, just a few minute walk to the biggest mall in the city-Tunjungan Plaza, BG Junction Mall, Surabaya Plaza, Grand City Mall, famous and memorable Tunjungan street, Grahadi (goverment residental), Balai Kota (city hall), local market and culinary, bus stop, few minutes drive to train station and more....... For reservation, you could book from B**king.com or H*#stelworld or directly to WA number or the Hostel page.

If you have plan to famous volcanos in East Java, Bromo or and Ijen Mountains, we have shuttle as well with a reasonable shared or single (solo traveller) price, which starts at midnight time for watching beautiful sunrise at Bromo Mountain then heading back to Surabaya or preferred destinations or continuing to Ijen Mountain afterward.
