🌼 Our little golden helpers.

Marigolds are more than just beautiful flowers in our vegetable farm. They help attract beneficial insects, support biodiversity, and naturally help protect our vegetables from unwanted pests.

🌿 Waiting for our wild rucola seeds…

We have one beautiful wild rucola bush growing at the farm, and now we’re patiently waiting for it to flower and give us seeds so we can plant more. 🌱

We’re hoping the seeds will grow strong and healthy, so soon we can have our wild rucola spreading around the farm again.

There’s something so special about growing from what nature gives us slowly, patiently, and season by season. 🤍

From one little bush, we hope for many more. 🌿

A little gift from our auntie who just came back from Australia, Four beautiful varieties of heirloom tomato seeds. 🍅🌱

Today, we finally got to taste the very first fruits from our Black kriem and Cherokee Purple plants, and oh wow… what a treat!

The Black Krim has that perfect sweet-and-sour balance, while the Cherokee Purple is beautifully tangy and more on the sour side. So much flavor in one little tomato! ❤️

We’re especially excited to see so many of the plants growing strong and healthy. Our hope is to let them thrive and acclimatize to our soil and climate, then save the seeds from this first harvest and keep growing, saving, and sharing them for many seasons to come.

From a few seeds brought home from afar, to tomatoes growing right here on our farm. 🌱🍅

Every Tumpek Landep, Ibu Kadek blesses our cows and gives thanks for all the blessings around us 🤍🙏🐄🌿

Tumpek Landep is a special Balinese Hindu day of gratitude and blessings, traditionally honouring the tools and things that support our lives and work.

Ibu Kadek is our beloved baker and has been part of the Temuku family since we started Temuku Bakery in the beginning of the ’90s 🥹🤍

And this year, we have a little extra blessing to celebrate… our cow family now has two babies! 🐮🐮✨ One of them was born just 2 days ago and still has his umbilical cord attached 🥹🤍

So much life, love, tradition, and gratitude on our little farm. Feeling so, so blessed 🌾✨🙏

Our stinky bean tree is fruiting again! 🌿💚 The tree is SO tall that we can’t harvest all of them, but we managed to get a little bit at least.

As stinky as they are, stinky beans are actually pretty healthy, they’re packed with protein, fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Basically, they’re good for you… they’re just REALLY stinky. 🤣

But hey, we don’t mind the smell! 😋
