Also can order food from Rumah Makan Padang, its almost every where, they are a halal restaurant.

They stay with us during Nyepi day, i believe that as a host we have to educate our guest about our culture, otherwise it would be a culture shock. Thats why i inform them about this day and lucky i do that because they were not realize about this day on their holiday,
I d be so pleased to share about what i informed them here but its not enough space, so for those who want to know more about Nyepi and Pengrupukan day, please find complete simple info from me at the comment.
Its a special day, nice to experience it. Just prepare your self with stuff and all would be amazing.

a bit share about Pengrupukan and Nyepi day in Bali, sometime we think that everybody know about it, but somehow there are some people who does not know about it at all and did not realize that they book their holiday on this special day, for us personally its a very special moment, that is why we make a notification and description about this special day with our villa client, i d be so pleased to share what we make here as well, for those who search info about it, can get simple reference from me. here is our letter for our lovely clients.

Halo, thanks for booking your stay with us.
During your stay with us, Balinese Hindu are celebrating Pengrupukan Day (March 10, 2024) and Nyepi or Silent day (March 11, 2024)
On Pengrupukan, there will be Ogoh Ogoh Parade, every village making 2 to 3 Ogoh Ogoh and doing parade on evening time, during this parade almost impossible to pass the road, that’s why better get what you need before that. Getting some food and meal as a snack or meal during nyepi is recommend on this day before parade startedstart around 5 pm or 6 pm on ward the parade would be happening till midnight. Ogoh Ogoh is an art work of the village people, if you want to see parade better see the one at the village where you d stay at.
The next day after Pengerupukan is called Nyepi day, it’s a new year of Balinese Hindu, happen once in a year, during this day there are some things that Balinese may not do, and since you stay with us during this time there are things that you may not do as well, namely :
1. Amati Karya/may not working or doing any activities, outside or inside home.
*In this case we may not go out to the road, stay at the villa and enjoy the time, our villa is having private pool and private kitchen so don’t worry you still can enjoy your time with us*.
2. Amati Lelunga/May not go on trip or go outside of where we stay at.
“In our case, we may not go out to main road, good thing is that our villa located in a small private path*
3. Amati Geni/may not put on the fire or any light.
*in our case, we may not put light on in garden or area that may be seen from outside the villa, small light in the villa’s room is totally fine*
4. Amati Lelanguan/may not having fun, drunk, party, etc
*no any party or noise is allowed during this time, swimming at your private pool, watching movie (internet normally still there) and cooking are totally fine, as far as not making loud noise*

Nyepi is special, it’s a moment once in a year, even airport is closed at this time.
The air and atmosphere would feel so special, at the villa normally we not serving lunch and dinner, however, during this Nyepi we make an exception, we offer some menu in case guest would like to order something, need to order a day before.
