Tangkahan Bambu River Guesthouse +6282184622162 The first guest house to be built in Tangkahan way back in 1998. owned by Indonesian, Wak Youn The food is amazing- especially Indonesian jungle food and BBQ.

owned by Indonesian Wak Youn(AKA Black Tiger), his English wife, Jane and their daughter, Dewi.The guest house overlooks the Buluh River(bamboo river) and Gunung Leuser National Park- home to a huge variety of flora and fauna. Accommodation is comprised of 11 bungalows starting from 250,000 per night per room with breakfast for 2 people.- All rooms have mosquito nets, double and single beds,

towels, bed linen and western toilets and showers. There is electricity but this can be sporadic due to frequent power outs courtesy of the Indonesian electricity company. A refurbishment of bathrooms and rooms is complete and two new family sized bungalows with huge terraces complete. Come stay with us!
