The income from Ricky’s Beach House is to pay the crew and help the villagers. Authentic Sumatra organize for you tours and private circuits in Sumatra from the north to the south as well as Mentawais island in order to meet the Mentawai people. We organize private tours since 2010, with “all include” option or “a la carte”. We are working with English and French speaking guides and with local guides as much as we can in each area (Mentawai, west Sumatra. Come with us to discover the Minang country with the little town of Bukittinggi and its traditional market, the Maninjau lake, relax at Valley Harau or have a ride to the magnificent Minangkabau palace of Pagaruyung. If you are sporty, climbing Merapi or Singgalang volcano is for you, as well as jungle trekking. In north Sumatra, come and meet the famous orang utan in the national park of Gunung Leuser, discover the unique Batak culture and its incredible architecture or enjoy elephant ride in the jungle of Tangkahan. Are you willing to enter the Siberut jungle and meet the Mentawai tribe, native of Mentawai islands and who live a semi-nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle in harmony with nature and spirits…
