The sustainably conscious Capella Ubud is nestled between 9 acres of jungle and rice paddy fields, within the Wos River Valley of Keliki. Its unique design and mindful build had the environment in mind when architect Bill Bensley brought this exclusive property with only 23 tents to life in 2018. The surrounding forest was left untouched during this project – no trees were cut down, and the landscape was left unaltered.
Beyond its eco-conscious build and practices, Capella Ubud’s biggest impact is its commitment to the Bali community and its local culture. From giving back to the Keiki Village to educating its hotel guests on local culture and traditions through its signature Capella Curates program, Capella Ubud encourages guests and locals to dive deeper into its destination’s history while preserving the beautiful place many call home.
