JJ´s Losmen has a straight view to the point. You can check the waves and watch surf from the hammock, take the steps down and paddle out just infront of the losmen. If you want to warm up your legs instead before the surf, you can also walk to the keyhole (5mins). The losmen also organizes surftrips to another surfspots (Rockstar and ATC) and rents motorbikes for guest to visit the town. Warung

Enjoy mama´s delicious meals after good surf. Play pool & pingpong, and get refreshed by the coldest bir Bintang at the sport bar. There´s also an opportunity to have a dinner-BBQ. Sorake beach is located in South of Nias island. Max. 2 hours drive from Gunungsitoli Airport. Family Wau will help you to figure out the transport from/to the airport or the both harbours.
