Dear friends, dear guests,
In our last post we mentioned we had some cool news coming up and - now - we are ready to share it with you.

Since we started a lot has changed at Guci Guesthouses as it’s our wish for our guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We are very happy to reveal our latest, really cool, improvement.

As of now the bedrooms of the three bungalows as well as the downstairs bedrooms of the duplex houses are equipped with Air Conditioning, in addition to the already existing ceiling fans.

We hope you love our latest surprise and can’t wait to welcome you once again at Guci Guesthouses.

Oh yes, the coolest news? The prices remain the same… this upgrade is on us!

Dear friends and guests,

Nyoman and myself are extremely excited about the fact that Bali is open again to receive visitors.

The bungalows were already freshly painted, all wooden furniture has been re-lacquered, the garden is in good shape and Nyoman has taken care of thousands of little jobs. Also, high speed internet was installed.

But we were not done yet!!!

Right now, as you read this post, we are working on the biggest upgrade of the bungalows and duplex-house in order to make your stay even more comfortable. We think it is really cool !!!

We don't want to reveal what the upgrade is just yet as we would like to surprise you when it's ready. Watch this space for more information which will be revealed really soon.

Dear guests, dear friends... There is light at the end of the tunnel! After two years Bali is finally opening up for tourists again and, in line with what's happening in the rest of the world, restrictions are gradually being lifted.

Needless to say, Nyoman and myself are extremely excited with the prospect of being able to receive guests again. Guci Guesthouses has not been the same without you!

As new grandparents we were privileged as our granddaughter Luna fills our days with joy. Still, we missed the daily encounters with our guests and to see that they really felt at home at our place. The interaction with you is what we missed most; Your stories, your smiles and even your appreciation for Guci Guesthouses.

As written before we took the opportunity to make things over here even better. The bungalows were freshly painted, all wooden furniture has been re-lacquered, Nyoman has taken care of thousands of little jobs, the garden is in good shape and last but not least, we have made a major improvement to the connection speed to the internet.

Guci Guesthouses, your home away from home, is ready for new guests and as it looks, so is Bali...

Very soon we hope to receive the first bookings again. We highly recommend to check the Indonesian regulations, as well as your country's regulations before making your travel plans but very good steps are made on a way to return to normal all over the world...

Greetings to all of you,

As things are currently very quiet in Guci Guesthouses, like everywhere in Indonesia, we took the opportunity to fix things up around here.

There were a thousand little jobs to be done and Nyoman took care of them one by one.

I - in the meantime - have taken on the big job of taking care of all the wooden furniture in the bungalows, the duplex and even our own house.

By now, all the furniture is already nicely finished, and every door and window is lacquered. Also the walls of the bungalows were newly painted and the fresh paint makes everything look really friendly.

As we know how important a good connection to the outside world is to our guests we have invested in our WIFI system and connection to the internet. Now, we can offer WIFI with the speed of 75 M, compared to 20 M before. The Internet is truly better, now, and all our (future) guests will for sure appreciate it very much.

Even the garden is in good shape and all we need now is many guests to fill up all the rooms... We are aware that this might still take some time but can’t wait to receive our first guests when the situation improves.

Our bungalows and houses have a good distance between them and breakfast can be served at every veranda, privately, so we are in tune with social distancing and you can avoid to meet other guests.

Your safety is our first concern and once Bali opens up for international tourism again we are ready to receive you once again in Guci Guesthouses, your home away from home…. Until then, stay healthy….

Like everywhere in the world it is currently very quiet at Guci Guesthouses. Nyoman, Daniel, Ade and myself are missing the joy of having guests around in our little piece of paradise on earth. The four of us would like to wish you a happy Easter for you and your beloved ones. We are looking forward to welcoming you once again after we leave this sad episode of Covid-19 behind us. The last couple of weeks our webmaster has been working very hard on a complete revamp of our website.

Not only does it load much faster, it got a more modern and slicker look, and best of all, it is now “adaptable” so you can have a look at it from your phones and tablets, it adjusts its appearance automatically.

All images are combined in galleries and you can now watch each of them individually in a large format that pops up when you click the picture in the gallery.

It is the third time our website got a completely new look and feel and we are very happy with the result. We are curious to see how you like it. Looking forward to your reactions.
