Ngaben (cremation) in Penestanan Kaja village today. The bodies of many people from the community will be put into this stunning sarcophagus before it’s burnt. Their ashes will then be spread in the sea releasing their spirit back to the universe.

`I had an amazing stay at this little gem in one of the best neighborhoods in Ubud. The villa is just beautiful! You have everything you need and more. The bed was comfy, wifi was great, I had direct access to the pool and common area. There is a very nice path just behind the resort which takes you to amazing views of ricefields. And lots of good warungs amd cafes nearby. What else can you ask for! And Summa and Roberto, both wonderful people. Can’t wait to be back :)’ Shadi, June 2022
