He always has a lot to say, loves Italian food and appears to be the strong tough guy but deep down he is the cutest little sooky boy that loves pats!

If you’ve ever shared a meal at Favela, you’ve experienced a little of Surmiati’s love and care.

As one of our incredible chefs, she spends her days preparing fresh, wholesome, and delicious meals that bring everyone together around the table. But it’s not just the food that makes Surmiati so special.. it’s the joy she brings to every day.

You’ll often find her singing in the kitchen, dancing while she cooks, and greeting everyone with her beautiful smile. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care for our guests shine through in everything she does.

If you’ve ever wandered through the gardens at Favela, admired the tropical surroundings, or simply felt how peaceful the place is… there’s a good chance Jeski has had a hand in it.

From caring for our gardens and keeping the property looking beautiful, to helping with maintenance and jumping in wherever he’s needed, Jeski is one of those people who quietly makes a big difference every single day.

Calm, kind, and always wearing a gentle smile, Jeski brings a peaceful energy to our team. He’s the type of person who’s always happy to help, never asks for recognition, and takes great pride in looking after the place we all call home.
