The unspoilt rugged landscape is a paradise for walkers, first class golf courses are in abundance and there is plenty exciting fishing to be had in the fish rich waters of Bantry Bay and the Beara Peninsula.

At Mossie’s, we don’t have TVs in the rooms.

That’s right - no TV. 🙃

It wasn’t an oversight. We just think there are better things to spend your time on when you’re surrounded by such beautiful nature, breathtaking views of the bay, and some of the most beautiful walking trails in Ireland right outside the door.

Instead, you’ll find books to get lost in, cosy corners for afternoon tea, long breakfasts, games and evenings spent by the fire with your favourite person

Of course, we have WiFi for those moments when you need it (we’re not completely unrealistic), but most guests tell us they end up spending far less time on their phones than usual.

June is a beautiful time of year here. The gardens are full of colour, the days seem to go on forever, and there’s still no crowds swarming the peninsula.

If you’ve been craving a few days of peace, quiet, and a break from endless scrolling, Mossie’s might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Imagine having the whole place to yourself…

Waking up to windows filled with woodlands instead of walls. Fresh air drifting through open doors. Silence so deep it almost feels unfamiliar. The kind of privacy that has become a luxury of its own.

At Hanno’s Workshop, every corner was made for slowing down. Cosy yet stylish interiors, an open-plan living area for long breakfasts and slow evenings, a terrace surrounded by nature, a projector and fireplace ready for rainy nights in.

Put your favourite songs on the sound system, pour a glass of wine, step into the sauna, and let rural Ireland do the rest.

Bring your pup. Bring your little one. Stay up late under some of the darkest skies, where the stars feel impossibly close. #

Hello Facebook!

We’re looking for a reliable housekeeper in the Beara area to become part of our little team for the summer season (approx. 20–25 hours per week).

Mossie’s is a little guest house in Adrigole with 5 guest bedrooms and one self-catering home, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys creating a warm, welcoming space for our guests.

The role includes daily room service, preparing rooms for check-ins and check-outs, ironing, laundry duties, general house cleaning, and helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. 🫧🧺

We’re looking for someone with attention to detail, a positive attitude, and someone we can rely on.

Experience is a bonus, but reliability and care are what matter most to us.
