A few iPhone photos from the Workshop today. Nothing staged, just how it looks on a quiet Sunday afternoon before guests arrive. 🤎
I usually reach for my camera when photographing our spaces, but there’s something I love about the simplicity of taking a phone out and capturing the little things as they are.
And there are a lot of little things in here.
Old switches and bells, exposed copper pipes, Belfast brick walls, pieces collected over the years, the old industrial details we chose to leave visible rather than hide away. A freestanding bath, a proper shower, a beautiful little kitchen, a big bed to disappear into and a wood burner for cosy evenings.
It’s not a perfectly polished space, and it was never meant to be. There’s history in it, a little eccentricity, and so many details you probably only really notice once you’ve been here for a day or two.
With the quieter months slowly approaching, this is when we start loving the Workshop most. The vibe we all seem to reach for when autumn starts to show.
Fire lit. Candle light diner at home. A long bath. A film before bed and that feeling of escapism after a busy summer.
Hanno’s Workshop is open throughout the quieter months for two - and pups are very welcome too. 🤎
