Today is International Charity Day, and for us, it also marks the beginning of Difference Makers Month, a time when our hotel and Central Office teams come together to support our charity partners through fundraising activities across the business.
Making a difference has always been about our people. Through our Dalata Difference Makers initiative, colleagues across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland rally behind three incredible charity partners, the The Marie Keating Foundation, Air Ambulance Northern Ireland and Leukaemia Care, helping to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities where we operate.
The impact our teams continue to make is extraordinary. In 2025 alone:
• €295,594 raised by our colleagues
• €69,412 contributed through Dalata's matching corporate donation
• €365,006 total raised
And together we've achieved even more:
• Over €2.8 million raised for our charity partners since 2016
• More than €900,000 raised between 2022 and 2025
• A new target to raise over €1 million between 2025 and 2028
From the Great Dalata Cycle and the Great Dalata Run to the many creative fundraising events taking place throughout Difference Makers Month, our people continue to show what can be achieved when we come together behind a shared purpose.
