In this weeks blog let’s talk about a true GAA Cavan legend!! Last Sunday marked a special occasion for GAA fans across the country. Dublin beat the reigning all Ireland holders Kerry. 72 years ago, John Joe O'Reilly, a GAA legend footballer from Cavan, beat Kerry in New York representing Cavan. Unfortunately, John Joe passed away at the young age of 34, but his legacy lives on in the history of the GAA. Let's take a moment to remember this special man and his amazing contribution to the GAA.
