Get ready for an incredible weekend of traditional Irish music and dance! The Sligo County Fleadh will be taking place in Ballymote, Co. Sligo from May 29th to May 31st, 2026 It’s a celebration filled with music, competitions, and community spirit!
📅 Schedule of Events:
- Friday, May 29th:
- 9 PM: Music Session in Doddy’s Pub and The Barrel House
- Saturday, May 30th:
- 10 AM: Solo Competitions in Coláiste Muire, Ballymote.
- 5 PM: “Trad at the Rock” Street Entertainment with Open Air Youth Music Session.
- 7 PM: Fleadh Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote.
- 9 PM: Pub Sessions in Gormley’s Corner House Pub
- Sunday, May 31st:
- 10:30 AM: Competitions in Dancing, Duet, Trio, and Cuimsiú in Coláiste Muire.
- 2 PM: Grúpa Cheoil and Ceilí Band Competitions
- 2 PM - 3:30 PM: Street Entertainment - Open Air Session.
- 7:30 PM: Gala Concert and CD Launch with Glór na dTon ,All-Ireland Ceilí Band Champions 2025, at The Coach House Hotel
- 9 PM: Slán Abhaile Session
