Sustainability is about more than individual initiatives. It’s about looking at how we operate every day and finding better ways to do things. 🌿

At County Arms, Eoin Garry has been driving this work forward, from improvements in energy efficiency to investments in technology that help us make better use of the resources we have.

What matters just as much is how that thinking carries through the hotel. Our team plays an important part in putting these changes into practice, with each department considering how everyday decisions can make a difference.

It’s ongoing work, and there’s always more to do. But by continuing to invest, learn and work together, we can improve how the hotel operates while looking after the town we’re proud to call home.

Employee of the Month — Luidmyla Hrynkov

Some people make a difference in ways you might not always see. 🤍

This month, we're delighted to celebrate Luidmyla Hrynkov, our Employee of the Month.

Working in our Laundry Department, Luidmyla is known for her great work ethic, kind and considerate nature, and the way she always works as part of the team.

So much of what makes a hotel run well happens behind the scenes, and people like Luidmyla play a huge part in making sure everything is ready for our guests each day.

We're so pleased to see her hard work recognised.

Congratulations, Luidmyla — thoroughly deserved! 🌟

The gardens are changing with the season. 🍂

A few more leaves on the ground, a little more colour in the trees and that unmistakable feeling that winter is on its way.

There’s still plenty to enjoy outside at County Arms, and autumn might just be one of our favourite times to see it.

Take a wander while you’re here. 🤍

We have some lovely news to share. 🤍

Hackett's Eatery has been recognised by Tripadvisor as being among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide. ✨

And while the award is something we're incredibly proud of, what means the most is knowing it came from the people who have sat at our tables, shared a meal and taken the time to tell us about their experience.

Every review, recommendation and kind word helps us keep doing what we love — creating food and experiences that people want to come back to.

So, thank you to everyone who has dined with us, left a review, recommended us to a friend or simply enjoyed an evening at Hackett's — this one's for you. 🥂

Here's to plenty more good food, good company and evenings around the table.
