Another great family Christmas celebration.
Well we were just about recovered from the great 90th Party with all the Nash family when we had to regroup and attend the first wedding of the generation of O'Connors as Ciaran, son of Declan and Siobhan tied the knot to the beautiful Ciara Downey in No. 1 Pery in Limerick, in a lovely ceremony, on a lovely day in a really great venue. A great day was had by all.

Kevin Grady, Chairman of the New York Claremen's Association was in Bunratty recently to celebrate the Bunratty FC 25th anniversary the only sports club in our community. Born and raised in Bunratty he comes home a few times a year and has used his office to raise funds for developments in the village, such as the new bus shelter. While here he did the honours and planted an Oak tree in our park. Also pictured below is Teresa Kevin's mother with nieces, a leading member of our committee. Such a positive guy, not like the thugs who vandalised our bus shelter last weekend. If anyone has any information on these culprits do give it to the Gardai in Shannon or any member of the Bunratty LDA. Oh don't forget our Halloween night fundraiser upstairs in Durty Nelly's on the 31st music by the incredible Gail Fean supported by a few local guest astistes.

Some more developments in Bunratty - as part of the process of improving our village, we decided to give the gable end of the Creamery Bar a lift and thought a nice Irish mural scene would be a good idea. Well who better to do it than artist and Tipp man Neil O'Dwyer cousin of Claire O'Connor whom some may be acquainted with. Neil has done many fine murals around Tipperary and Limerick and this may well be his first venture across the Shannon into the Banner territory. He did a fine job and it is well admired by all and sundry - so well done Neil.
