Step into the kitchens of the 1800s and savor the sights, smells, and stories of a bygone era. Join us for Bygone Bites, a captivating live demonstration led by Mary O'Connor of Galty Valley Catering, as she brings 19th-century cookery to life using traditional methods, tools, and ingredients.
From techniques to the art of rustic presentation, Mary will guide you through how meals were prepared, cooked, and served at the hunting lodge. Learn about the historical context of ingredients, the ingenuity behind early kitchen tools, and the customs that shaped mealtime in the Galtee Valley and beyond.
