It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of PJ Brennan on Saturday Morning.

PJ was part of The Lord Bagenal Inn for almost 30 years, and in that time he became far more than a colleague — he became a friend. He was a quiet, loyal, and dependable presence, and someone I came to know and respect greatly over many years.

PJ only retired last November, and it was a moment to acknowledge his long service and dedication. He gave so much of himself to this place, and to all of us who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Like many long-serving members of our team, PJ became part of the fabric of The Lord Bagenal Inn. He will be remembered with great fondness and will be deeply missed.

My sincere condolences go to his family and loved ones.

May he rest in peace.
