On behalf of myself and the page I would like to pass my sincere condolences to Robert O’Connor and family on the passing of his wife Mary. Most of you will know Robert and Mary who were regular patrons of the hotel and Robert was a station officer with Carlow Fire Service. Robert’s brother Noel was hotel maintenance for many years.

May Mary RIP 🙏

A couple of weeks ago while in The Irishmans Bar Carlow I was given a wine menu from the hotel and inside was the previous post containing the supplemental in the Nationalist.

I also found the photos inside which belonged to Majella (RIP) who brought them to one of our reunions and were left behind a few years ago. Lovely to look back at them so please get tagging and in the last photo we remember Majella & Daniel who both passed away far too early and Cathriona also ……May they rest in peace 🙏
