We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported and celebrated Nuremore Hotel & Country Club over the years — and to the dedicated teams, past management, and community who shaped its proud legacy of excellence.
It is with great respect for that legacy — and excitement for what lies ahead — that we begin a bold new chapter, with new custodianship and will be reimagined as Nuremore Estate by McGettigan’s.
Our goal is not to rewrite the past, but to build upon it — restoring, renewing, and reimagining the estate as a timeless destination for generations to come.

A new chapter begins... 🌳✨

We’ve officially kicked off restoration works at Nuremore Hotel & Country Club — and it’s already starting to show! The grounds are being brought back to their former glory, with renovations and rejuvenation now fully underway.

To all concerned residents of the Carrickmacross Town and Surrounding Areas,
We are releasing this statement in a hope it will put to rest all the fear and anger within the community. The Nuremore Hotel has no plans to become part of the ongoing Direct Provision process. We can categorically confirm there are no asylum seekers in the Hotel and there are no plans to take asylum seekers into the Hotel. The hotel has not been acquired by IPAS or any affiliated organisations. The owner of the hotel has big plans in place to refurbish the hotel to the highest possible 4* standard and open it back up to the public as a Commercial Hotel. The development plans are ongoing. We now would like to ask that the fabricated online stories surrounding Direct Provision, and the sale of the Hotel for those purposes be laid to rest to reduce the fear in the local community.

To all Leisure Club Members,
As of today all memberships have been frozen until the Leisure Centre is fully operational again. We can not confirm a reopening date until we get direction from our owners. This situation is totally out of management control and we will continue to update all members as we receive information.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and low temperature in the pool swimming lessons and aqua aerobics are cancelled for this weekend but hope to be back on next week. Please keep an eye on the page for update a return date.

Everyone welcome €10.00 for non members €5.00 if you are a member with us.

We have an exciting announcement here at the Nuremore Leisure Club.

We will be doing Aqua Aerobics every Friday at 11am. This is not only for members. If you wish to attend you can pay €10.00 at the Leisure Club.
