One day I will compile the in-between bits, but for now I show you what we started with and how it finished. 😊

August 2025 we finally took it off the trailer and set it in place, 11 months later we got it all completed. (Most of it was the last 3 months tbh 😂)
The inside of the boat was completely gutted, but a lot of wood was upcycled. For example the old floor boards were cut down and I made the wheelhouse windows from them.
Working on the boat made me appreciate the craftsmanship that originally went into these boats it's phenomenal at the time. Anyway, here it is in it's second life ☺️

Our Boatel is fully complete! What a crazy few weeks :) special thanks to my family, neighbours and friends who all helped out to get it completed:)

Just some finishing touches and the boatel will be completed and ready for the summer!

We have just over a week left till the Boatel is fully completed and we are almost finished in the final room of the build "the wheelhouse"
This accommodation has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4) bathroom, kitchen and the wheelhouse for lounging or remote working office!
