Kenmare Eco Lodge is only five kilometers from Kenmare Bay and Kenmare town, which is one of the prettiest small towns in Ireland with historic houses, quality seafoods and traditional music etc. all in a tiny triangle of streets.

🌳 Meeting today with founder of Free Trees Ireland Paddy Mangan in Oldcastle.
Since coming up with the concept, before Christmas, of distributing free trees for planting, Paddy has allocated over 30,000 trees across Ireland.
Paying for these trees himself his aim of ensuring native Irish trees take root across the land & bring happiness to young and old alike has just snowballed.
Paddy has 5 varieties of trees he allocates to people in bundles. They are:
🌳 Alder
🌳 Birch
🌳 Scots pine
🌳 Mountain Ash
🌳 Oak
He now has 30 people acting as distributors across the country so that nobody is more than a 50 minute drive away from collecting a free tree.
Delighted to meet with Paddy today and discuss his plans to see a further 120,000 trees distributed by this time next year.
