Happy new year to you all! We are open again after our Christmas break. We're looking forward to the arrival of all this year's guests and also to the arrival of spring.

There's still time to catch a little of bit of Cork's winter twinkle though. This is one of the local pubs - the Pier Head Cork - which has a roaring fire and does lovely cheeseboards, perfect for admiring your view of winter over Blackrock Harbour while staying nice, cosy and dry!

Hard to believe it's almost Christmas!🌟 Time for a little break - we close on Dec 19th and will reopen after Jan 5th.

One room left - less than 10 minutes walk to the Investec Champions Cup on Saturday! We're just 850m from Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Due to a cancellation, we now have a room available for the Munster Rugby v Gloucester match on Saturday December 13th.

We're the only guesthouse in Ballintemple/Blackrock. We have plenty of parking too, the police will wave you past the barriers, and there will be some great sessions in the pubs here after as well.

Get in touch ASAP if you'd like less than 10 minutes walk from the stadium to your bed.

We will close for a break over for the holidays, from 19th December to 5th January. Looking forward to the break and to reopening the doors in 2026.

If 🎸Zach Bryan stayed with us, he'd have a 5 minute walk home after his Cork concerts at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. And he could pop into Longboats or The Venue for a pint after!

Zach Bryan's 'Something in the Orange' tour has announced two dates in Cork city next year, in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on June 20th and 21st 2026.

It is the only gig in the Republic (that we know of so far) and tickets will go on sale generally on Friday December 5th at 10am. There's also an artist pre-sale. Between this and the Live at The Marquee, Cork line-up, summer 2026 is looking brilliant for music in Cork, we can't wait.
